To celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow here is the story JoJo Gnome & the Common Elf Games. It’s a story all about joining in and trying new things. There are also 3 story starters based around sports. Were start the story and you finish it off by drawing a picture, telling someone the ending or writing about it. There is also a film by the senior pupils from St Roch’s School for the Deaf showing you how to step through a sheet of paper … just like JoJo Gnome did in the story.
In May and June 2026 workshops based around the story funded by The Glasgow Festival Fund and Glasgow Life, to engage with the early years and ASN communities, were hosted by Jo Hall in Glasgow.
