Listening to stories and Podcasts

Most recent JoJo Gnome Story Podcast

JoJo Gnome Story Podcast Archive

JoJo Gnome Story podcast is ideal for listening together at bedtime or travelling in the car. Each podcast has a main story usually about JoJo Gnome and his friends and a story starter. The story starter is to encourage young people to create their own stories. This can be by writing, drawing or telling someone the ending. JoJo Gnome is for children aged 3-6 , but the appeal of the wee Scottish character lasts much longer.

Jo’s 5 Minute Creative Corner is for  children age 6-9. It is a short listen, which is designed to bring out the creative side of youngsters. There are craft activities, physical challenges and most importantly hints and tips to boost creativity and imagination.

The podcasts all have their own individual pages with follow on activities and videos. You can subscribe to both of the podcasts. Find them on this site, Spotify and Apple Podcasts too.

Reading Stories

There are currently three JoJo Gnome books to enjoy. Each book follows the adventures of JoJo Gnome and his friends and is set in the Scottish countryside. The books are in full colour and can be purchased form JoJo Gnome’s Etsy site. They can be signed at no extra charge. A fourth JoJo Gnome book is planned for spring 2020 – JoJo Gnome and the Scarecrow.
