Strathblane Primary Summer Fayre

I had a great time today at Strathblane Primary School’s Summer Fayre. I did a storytelling session under a tree sitting on a tree stump… great location. The children enjoyed JoJo Gnome and the Common Elf Games and then they were treated to the Primary 5 children running their own Common Elf Games. The Gnomtastic Obstacle Course was a great hit with all who took part.  Everyone got JoJo medals and some sweet treats. Well done P5 you were stars!!!

WhiteInch Nursery Visit

I was very excited to visit WhiteInch Nursery in Glasgow this week. I shared JoJo Gnome and the Common Elf Games with over 150 children who joined in the games with great enthusiasm. The nursery are looking forward to the Commonwealth Games coming and they have lots of great displays and some of the children have written sporting books. Fun and games all round.

The Commonwealth Games is coming to Glasgow in July and if you live in the city you can see all the changes happening. It has to be said at the moment it mostly seems like roadworks and building sites but it is coming together. I am just about to do some work with a Canadian school around my book JoJo Gnome & the Common Elf Games. Most will never have seen Glasgow …so I made a (very) short video tour of some of the venues….I also read the Common Elf Games for them.
